I’m on what is supposed to be day 5 of optifast but yesterday I lost control and ate food and drank some wine I’m terrified that even if I get back on track now it’s too late and This slip up will effect my surgery.

  • One slip up probably won't stop your surgery, BUT it's a slippery slope if you rationalise away more slip ups. Buckle down and try really hard. These weeks before and after the surgery are the hardest

Never too late unless you let it be. Are you resolved to climb back on the bandwagon and are you a reformed weight loser? One slip does not trip you up, repeated ones might! You are on Optifast for a Good reason, to get ready for your surgery, and I doubt it was your plan to throw all your hard work away. You're human, we all are, but stay the course, I can assure you it is Worth It All! Keep us posted on your journey and update us when your surgery is completed, okay????
