A few NSVs

  • Popular Post

I noticed a few NSVs last night/this morning, and I'm just so happy I had to share. So, here they are.

1) I had to tighten the strap on the mask for my CPAP

2) I've noticed that I've started taking better care of myself and have generally been feeling happier

3 (and my favorite)) Today as I was leaving for work, my husband hugs me and said, "You've lost so much weight, I can hug you more completely". Guys. He can finally get his arms the whole way around me. I have been smiling about this all day.

@Neri Congratulations on your progress. NSVs are proof it's not all about the number on the scale!

Yesterday, while talking to a friend of many years, she said "you are starting to look like the you I remember and I know you'll get back to where you were mean't to be." I've known her for 40 yrs and she has seen me yo-yo diet for the last 20 yrs so I know she mean't this as a sincere compliment . Definitely a NSV for me.

Well I am looking forward to a SVN, a "scale victory now", there was a point where Tomkitten?and I were about 75 pounds apart, he is also losing a little bit but not like I am! Somewhere between Easter and Mothers Day I should equal or diminish past him! And then he can call me his LITTLE MAMA and I will rock it to the treetops! Thank you again Drs Needleman and Noria for being my surgical helpers , giving me a chance for a future out of Obesity. I may never make it past mere Overweight but I will be proud at any rate. And my current mantra will be;
I SHALL MAKE THE REST OF MY LIFE THE BEST OF MY LIFE!???
