Everything tastes metallic now..

I just had surgery on the 26th. Ever since everything has had a metallic taste to it. I don't know if it was the hospital silverware or what. And it's like my sense of smell has suddenly became heightened. Is this normal?

      Very normal and the metallic taste usually is a remnant of anesthesia . If it still remains for your first post-surg appointment you can mention it to your doctor, but I'm pretty sure I am right.

      I had that for about 2-3 weeks. I think it is part of ketosis. I get it rarely now. It won't last.
