Hair Loss

I’m doing really great, 60 lbs down! But I’m taking vitamins and calcium and still losing more hair than I’d like. My hair is already fine/thin. Anybody have any recommendations on a vitamin to take to strengthen my hair and cut down on the hair loss? I’ve read about Biotin but also the side effects. Any ideas? Thanks so much !!

Congrats on your weight loss! Are you hitting your protein goals? If so, I recommend checking with your nutritionist before adding any supplements into your diet.

Google the research and decided if its right for you. I took the standard dosage recommended on the jar.

Safe Journey!

Iron will help. Get a good shampoo like Nizoral. Prescription strength if u can. How bad is it?

Actually, nothing at this point is going to stop what's happening. Since the "loss" portion of the issue is what's happening right now, and when that starts happening, you can't do anything about it. Everything you take at this point is only going to help the new hair that's growing in.
