Vitamins!

Hello all!

I have been lurking on these forums for a while. I just got the approval call for my vsg surgery today!! I have the surgery on 9/17!! I'm so excited!

I have a question though. Would yall mind sharing what brand vitamins you buy? Where from? I have the patches for the first 30 days but am not planning on using them any longer than that.

Thanks in advance!

I'm excited to join yall on the losers bench ;)

  • I'm using the chewable Bariatric Advantage brand. They taste great and are relatively cheap. I use the dark cherry for my multi and strawberry for my calcium. Sent from my SM-N950U using Bariatric

The nutritionist told me sometimes ppl have issues with getting in everything you need during the first month and forget vitamins and such. So she recommended them for the 1st month.

The patches are a very hot subject around these parts. Very divided group with this topic. I'm Curious why are you only using the patches for 30 days?

Interesting. I was told I needed / should be on vitamins for at least 6 months post surgery. I currently use from the BP store, Bariatric Multivitamins chewable citrus and orange calcium. I was told I could now go to traditional vitamins but would need to take at least 2 a day. I prefer 1-a day hence I'll stick out the chewable kind.
