Was sleeved in July, but just wanted to tell you all that you got this. It's going to be rough at first but when those times come just remember that the recovery process is only temporary and when you

October 3rd! I'm nervous! And also excited! Btw, thanks for labeling this thread "2018." There are two other October threads that don't have the year marked, and I really hope some of us stay in

I am 4 days out and I can only eat to spoons of broth but I am getting my liquids in

Everyday will get easier!

Who is going into the soup stage? Sleeved 10/23 and tomorrow is the big day for something besides a gross protein shake. What do you have figured out for soups? Any easy homemade ones?

I’m past that stage but a great soup I liked was a curry butternut soup . Use bone broth and get 9 grams of protein and u can use unflavored whey powder for more .

Hi byefat! I was able to have blended soups with my protein shakes. I made black bean soup with bone broth. I also got a delicious lentil soup at Trader Joe’s and blended it up. It was very satisfying. Also, I took a can of progress low fat chicken noodle and blended that with some unflavored protein powder. It was so tasty! I found I wanted salty way more than sweet stuff! Good luck!

Thank you friend!

Lost only a kilo this week BUT that takes me to 20kg lost since pre-op diet. Wow!!!

Thanks Georgetown! What protein powder do you use?

I got the unflavored protein powder that Genpro makes. It’s 30g of protein. I blended it with the can of soup, then heated it.

I’m not feeling very happy right now... I got my sleeve October 24th 2018 and it’s been a rough couple of days.. I didn’t expect to be so nauseas for so long medicine helped but still felt like a lot of days ...

Well my surgery went well. I have a lot of pain. Maybe from the gas they put in. They gave me pain meds in recovery through IV but now they are giving me crushed pills. I'll be here in the hospital for two days. I did drink 3 oz of water and didn't feel sick

I’m glad everything went ok Chrissy C!

Just had my sleeve surgery October 26th 3 days ago do anybody know y my inner shoulders may be hurting I thought maybe bcuz during surgery they had my arms laid out like the cross. Then I wonder if it's gas I just don't want pneumonia the Dr told me U can get that just wanted to know has anybody experienced this pain it doesn't feel good. And how is everybody consuming all of these liquids its so hard to do I get full quick then my stomach hurts smh

Go slow just do the best u can first couple days , my surgeon told me not to worry so much about protein first week just clear liquids
@yvonne47 it’s the gas.. try walking and rolling your shoulders :) feel better!
