Was sleeved in July, but just wanted to tell you all that you got this. It's going to be rough at first but when those times come just remember that the recovery process is only temporary and when you

October 3rd! I'm nervous! And also excited! Btw, thanks for labeling this thread "2018." There are two other October threads that don't have the year marked, and I really hope some of us stay in

I've started a list to help people find their surgery buddies. This is supposed to just be sleevers, but I bet some others snuck on. It's supposed to be all the October sleevers, but I'm 100% sure I m

Doing good over here! Recieved a surgery time of 11am tomorrow!

I'm finding the chicken broth to not be that bad. Not a fan of the smell but its tastes decent.

I'm doing okay just drinking my broth all day today to prepare for tomorrow. Sadly im having back pain. But I'll be damned if this stops me I'm going to walk into that hospital as straight as I can and change my life!!! If anyone wants to follow my journey my Instagram is Instagram.com/nikoleroze

I'm October 16 *waving hello from across the pond*

I thought you were doing something other than the sleeve, though?

I set myself the task of connecting all the sleevers, not connecting everyone getting a surgery at all. Which isn't to say I mind adding you (I don't! it's fine! I'm adding you now), just ... if I'm remembering right, you'll have a different experience.

Obviously, if I'm remembering wrong, I apologize, profusely!

(Part of why I tried to only add sleevers is that the list is already very long. Part of it is that the RNYers will, on average, be miserable a little longer at the outset than we are, but then their losses will be greater over time. "Don't compare yourself to others" is good advice, but it's hard to follow, because we're human, you know?)

Hi I am new to this forum, only found it today.

I have got my date for surgery...20th October!!

I'm in the UK and feeling excited and concerned about what I'm going to eat after surgery, anyone else in the UK?

I am so ready. I wish everyone that is having surgery tomorrow, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. the best. Hope to see everyone back on this weekend or the first of next week. Prayers for all. :)

No stress! I hope it goes really well, and you have an easy recovery!

Just finished my first day of preop liquid diet. It was hard. I didn’t like the tastes of things and found it hard to finish any of my meals. I have a bit of a headache but I’m not terribly hungry. I just have to remind myself that the ends will make some minor discomfort worth it.
