Crazy, I Know!

Anyone else feel more self aware of how fat their body looks in clothes as they lose weight? 50lbs ago I knew I was fat but thought I still looked good. Now...I just look fat

I actually feel thinner and look thinner! I love the way I am at the moment and I have a lot more to lose so things can only get better

I'm noticing different skin sag while nude. Strange, I always avoided mirrors before my surgery. Now I find myself checking out to see how my body is changing. It's doesn't look any better, unfortunately. I'm still fat and saggy, but less puffy and pasty in the face. That's always been the first place for me to gain weight: my face.

Oh, and I still have boobs. I was afraid of losing those completely.

As for clothes, I'm waiting for my next milestone (under 200) before discarding my fat-lady uniforms.

My face was bloated and definitely was the first place I showed weight gain. It’s not bloated anymore thank god. Four weeks out now and stalled. Hoping the weight loss will pick back up.

I am the same way. I was such a cute, sassy fat girl. I had a hourglass shape and looked great in clothes. I was fat but I never thought of as a negative. Now I am just sag city with weird bulges that make me look fat! Need to buy stock in spanx cuz I am paying their bills right now!

I feel the opposite. I feel thinner and less fat than my weight on the scale indicates. I think I may have body dysmorphia in the other direction, lol.

I think flattering clothes that suck you in and have strategicly placed ruching make me look curvy and sexy.

Now once the clothes are off, it's a trainwreck ... but way more people see me in clothes vs. out, so I'll take it!

I think my skin has gone a little yellowish, no I don't think it's jaundice, my sclera look fine. Is it fading summer tan or this verdompt 1000 calorie liver-shrinking,diet? I'd go outside in the the sun but only the Almighty, knows what shade I'll turn next! Fade away visceral fat, face away! Dr Needlman doesn't want lease a backhoe to get through my omentum!???

Ok, I don't remember ever giving a sh*t as much as I do now, so maybe this is the reason. But I look at myself in a full length mirror, and I just see this hanging skin (which if you don't know its skin, it looks like fat) north of my crotch region. So I have a nice small waste until you hit my hips... and BAM....I have front butt-- almost a tire, hips, and then... sadly, no butt (never have had one).

SIDE NOTE: Like I said, I never cared before, I hated that I was overweight because it limited my activities, clothing was hard to find, ect. But I never was like, "I want to be skinny to be beautiful." However, now I realize, I am MUCH more attractive thinner than heavy. Looking back, everyone always said, "you have a beautiful face", yeah, uh huh... .
