So, why do you think you have a leak?

Praying everything is ok for you. I had a leak that was discovered 3 weeks after my surgery, and even though it was tough, I made it thru and am ok today.

stay positive!!

Sending prayers that everything is all right (hugs) too.

Sending prayers and positive vibes!

Thanks for the positive thoughts! I had a CT scan that showed no leak, but because there was so much scar tissue and changes in my anatomy due to the old band, things were wonky. I'm happy to say all is well now, and the clear liquids are staying where they should. I have an amazing doctor!

What a scare. I'm glad that you have confidence in your doctor. That makes a lot of difference. No one wants to go around with things all wonky with a doctor that's all wonky, too.

Hello!

They thought I might have had a leak based on my swallow test. I'm a nurse and I work where I had surgery, so I got more info after my test than the average patient would have. When I looked at the xray pics, there was a spot that looked like it might be draining into the wrong area (i.e. not my bypass site at the y junction). The CT scan came back ok, and thank God I'm ok!
