also, I highly recommend staying off Facebook and social media, log out often. It's helped me so much.

Failing.....you had surgery a MAJOR surgery a few days ago. Most ppl dont have super easy recovery. Days 3 thru 6 can be the worst due to swelling and soreness. Walk, sip and lay on your left side

I am super new to all of this, and was just sleeved on 6/19. I spent two nights in the hospital, and walked around as much as I could tolerate. I know that I am only a few days post op and pain can be normal, but I feel so lethargic and sore almost all of the time. The gas pains have been the worst I think, and they don’t seem to lighten up. I don’t think I am feeling very hungry, mostly just head hunger right now. I’m sipping, going to the bathroom pretty regularly, and using the spirometer. I don’t regret having the surgery, but I just want to know that it gets easier as time goes on. I feel like so many other people have come home from the hospital feeling so much better, and I feel like a slug. My family has been super supportive, but I still feel like I’m failing. Does anyone have any advice?
