I did all my testing, insurance approved surgery, date set for surgery, but I have to have a 2 hour long preop test? What test is this? I should've asked but didn't think to lol. I have to check in the hospital for this test. I'm curious if anyone else has to or had to do this..

Have you had any of the following yet? Chest x-ray, upper GI, barium swallow x-rays, EKG? Any of these, or a combination....could be your 2 hour preop test appointment.

@sasa_maria Did you do your psych eval yet? Mine was listed as being 2 hours long (didn't take anywhere near that though)

Just had a pre-op class last week that was 2hrs long during which we had a written quiz and then discussed the answers. The longest thing I've done so far is the wait for Endoscopy. Havn't heard anything about 2hr test though. Good luck though.

So how do you think you did? Mine was only an hour and it was on-line, but they took attendance and everything! And I really loved it, one step more close to surgery. I wanna I wanna, hear from me c stomping my feet like a 3 v year, old? Should, have slit,me,open before I regressed this far!😷🏣👉😛👈

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
