Bleeding Gastric Ulcer

Besides NSAIDS has anyone discovered anything else that will cause an ulcer or flare it up? Also, how quickly can they form? Just trying to expand my knowledge! I am 2 years out this month.

Can H pylori cause an ulcer? I'm not 100% sure, but it's ringing a bell somewhere. Sent from my XT1254 using BariatricPal mobile app

Yes H. Pylori causes ulcers. Nicotine is extremely bad to cause ulcers, too.

Coffee, anything acidic... etc etc. How quickly they form or you experience a flare up is going to be based solely on your personal "make up", some people are more prone to ulcers... so this question really should be posed to your PCP, Original surgeon/surgical team or nutritionist.
