I started my pre-op diet on May 11th, for some reason my doctor wants me to do it for 3 weeks! I'm one week in, some days I feel like I can change the world, other days I don't have it in me to change

They are letting us have it through out before and after thank god because I actually love the taste of it lol

I don't have to do a 2 week liquid diet. I was surprised by this. My last two days before surgery is liquid. Before that very low carbs and protein drinks.

Yes, mine is 5/31. I am thankfully through thr worst part of my anxiety, but it's still there. How about you?

I’m not anxious for any “scared” reasons, I just hate waiting lol ? I’m ready (and super hungry ?) I just can’t believe this is really happening...I find my story different than a lot of peoples and I often wonder if I belong...but there are a few like mine. I cannot wait to be the old me!!!

I'm the same way. PCOS, endometriosis, diabetes, high bp, and sleep apnea are my reasons.

OBVIOUSLY PCOS ?, sleep apnea, some depression and such for me. I’m really hopeful that this is the relief to the symptoms.

I’m struggling, more out of wanting to chew and knowing some foods I’ll likely never want/have again. I’m worried I’ll backslide over the weekend without work to distract me

Pearldrop, try journaling. On sundays we have the family over for dinner, and this past Sunday while everyone was eating, i had my jello and wrote in my journal. It didnt take long for the feeling that i wanted food to pass. It works for me. Im on day 10 of a 14 day liquid diet, surgery is tuesday the 29th
