Not really feeling food...Pureed stage

I had the gastric bypass. I'm on the pureed stage and I'm totally not feeling food. All I want is popsicles and ice cubes. I have one egg in the morning and after that I'm pretty much over it. I have my ISOPURE protein drinks but ice cube form. Can you guys give me some ideas what to try. I really only like chicken and sausage no other kind of meat.

Enjoy it while it lasts guys. The feeling of non-hunger only lasts for 3-4 months. I know it’s frustrating right now but soon enough you’ll look back fondly to the days you could survive off Protein S

Yeah I started my pureed stage March 15th my post op appointment. I've tried cream of chicken in the Crock-Pot with chicken breast and that was one of my favorite meals before surgery. Couldn't do it.

My best friends during the purée stage were the ricotta bake and sugar free pudding and apple sauce. I wasn’t allowed meat until 6-7 weeks into it and only soft pulled meats at best

Question is having popsicles considered eating or just getting in liquids? Like would it be okay to eat ice or the protein drink cubes I made or to even have sips of water?

I can't have no fruits veggies grains beans nothing but meat yogurt popsicles and a little bit of cheese

Eggs can feel pretty bulky during puree, they were tasty but did not great in my stomach after I'd swallowed. Tuna was pretty good (I put greek yogurt and milk in mine to thin it down). I also ate blended lentil soup, and you can also try a small amount of cream of wheat.

If you are cleared for cream of rice or wheat, I wouldn't see why not . To my mind it would be easier than oatmeal to digest Nut don't make it real thick at first.[emoji173].[emoji13]
