My surgery date is April 17th, and now that I have my date I am nervous! I have questions though. Does anyone know of some protein drinks with no dairy or whey, where I can get them?? Also if I have a hernia that the doctor doesn't know about, will he fix it when he does my vsg??

Yes usually they do, check GNC, Vitamin Shoppe, even my local health food store Down To Earth carries soy and other plant-based varieties. And check at Target because I know Wal-Mart handles a vegan type variety, if they do Target or Meijer probably does too. Might take some searching to find it but your health and YOU are worth it![emoji12] Shoot K Mart might too, not sure because our local one pulled up stakes and left town.

Congrats!!!

Congrats!

Two weeks before surgery they usually do an EGD scope and can tell if you need a hernia repair. Good luck.

Where did you find it? It sounds good, think I might go that way also, meat doesn't agree with me as much as it used to. Plus whey. does constipate a lot of people.[emoji21] What flavors does it come in? I'm allergic to chocolate and so,often that's about all one can find.
