Time off work

Hey everyone,

How much time did you take off from work? Did you feel like you were ready to go back before your scheduled return date?

Seeking answers for either VSG or RNY.

I took off from work for 10 days.

I had surgery on Tuesday and was working at home on Friday for 2 hours. I felt able to work by Thursday.

I was just sleeved on 3/5 not returning to work til 3/19 so basically 2 weeks off for me

Had surgery on Wednesday 2/28 and back at work Monday 3/5. I have a desk job and hid behind my potted plant when I got drowsy.

I’m having the VSG on 4/16 and I am going back to work on 4/18. I work from home though, and can take breaks as needed.

I had VSG surgery on 2/27, worked from home on 3/2 and went into the office on 3/5. I was a little tired at work and took pain meds at night before bed.
