My husband actually said that I need to stop losing weight because I'm starting to look like a "Crack Head".

? yes my feelings are crushed ?

And to think my therapist said that some people find being underweight unattractive. I was dumbfounded!

In conclusion, f*ck him.

Oh well damn. That just hurt my feelings.

Honestly, I think he may be dealing with some issues regarding your smaller frame. He isn’t used to you being smaller so he is acting out in either jealous, insecurity or both. I am sorry you have to hear that but if losing the weight makes you happy, that’s all the matter.

Sometimes we have to cut the dead root to really blossom.

Is he a big fellah? Maybe he is anxious someone will whip you away?

But you have to talk! He needs to own how he feels, not call you names. It is rude and you are supposed to be his ‘cherish and protect’ person...

I lost a lot of weight on my own several years ago and my brother said I looked like a cancer patient. It really hurt how I felt about such progress for my health. I know he was trying to be funny because he's the family comedian. But he's also 300 lbs. I'm not sure if there was underlying insecurity there (probably). But I know he wouldn't have said it if he thought it'd hurt my feelings. He shoots from the hip a lot too.

Was your husband half joking, half being serious? Maybe talk to him more about the surgery and what this means to you? I don't know y'all's situation, but it's definitely at a point where you two are in a disagreement about what's best for you. So maybe time to talk. :)

My suggestion...DON'T f*ck him until he apologizes for that classless remark:)

I can punch him for you!!!! How rude. I'm so sorry. He's just insecure and needs to get over himself.
