5 days postop

I am doing pretty well. I still have gas pain and that is what bothers me the most. I haven't thrown up even once and I only had some mild nausea after surgery. I have done a good job of tracking liquids and following my diet. So far I have lost 9lbs. I am still taking it slow and listening to my body. Things feel different. I don't exactly ever feel hungry, I also don't seem to experience the traditional feeling of fullness. I never used to burp, ever. Now I keep having little burps every time I eat or drink. It's not to bad and I figure it will get a little better over time. Overall I am doing well and looking forward to my new life.

Sounds like you're doing great! Xx

That is great to hear and very encouraging!

Great report! Congrats!

That sounds great! I am just over one month post-op and I remember the exact same things. The only pain I felt was from the gas... I still do little burps, and like you never burped... And I still never really feel hungry-- at least not like I used to. :-D
