Had VGS 12/29 - 11 days post op. After a brutal first three days, I forced myself off of pain meds, started walking 2-4 miles a day and now I feel outstanding, lots of energy, minimal discomfort. Doing fine with liquids apart from some minor cramps/spasms if I swallow too fast, or it is too hot/cold. However, I was told I could eat sf jello and ff plain greek yogurt but both of those cause immediate gripping stomach pain. Had 2 tablespoons of greek yogurt last night, terrible stomach ache followed by diarrhea. Is this normal? By my schedule I'm supposed to be able to transition to eggs and apple sauce later this week but I am petrified to try anything else. I'm SOOOOOO sick of liquids and want to be able to slowly transition but I'm very nervous.
