Trouble getting my protein

I am 8 weeks out and I can hardly eat anything. I am only able to get maybe 1 ounce of protein in at a meal, anything over that usually ends with me throwing up. I am getting very tired of protein shakes. I am reading about what people are eating and how much and don't understand what is going on. I am struggling as to what to do. Any suggestions?

I am 8 weeks out and I've been able to eat 4 shrimp at a time. It's nice to eat food again. I haven't tried any meats yet. I'm thinking I may try to stay away from meats as long as possible. Have you tried peanut butter? I started buying protein fat free milk and that's been great. I add a little chocolate syrup to it and I like that better then protein shakes. I drink about 40 grams of protein a day with that.

I have lost 45 pounds so far. Just frustrated with not being able to keep things down. Peanut butter upsets my stomach. I will have to look for the milk.

Yes this is the one I drink IMG_4653.JPG

Thanks so much !!!!

Love this milk. I pair it with Special K protein for breakfast occasionally and it's very yummy.... my husband loves the chocolate milk. Tastes just like regular milk. Also has a longer expiration date.

Yes it's great. There are few different kinds. But this one my whole family will drinks. So I don't have to buy different milk for everyone. The chocolate is really good too. But I prefer to use sugar free Hershey syrup in the white milk. That way I can just add a touch of chocolate to it. It has helped me get my protein in.
