Hello Everyone

Hello all.

I just found your site and was wanting to introduce myself. I had my lap-band "installed" on October the 2nd and so far everything has been as smooth as glass. for me it was a same day surgery I went in at 5:am and was leaving at 7:pm that night. the only problem I did have was trying to find the liquid pain reliever that was prescribed ( Liquid Tylenol and codeine)for me at the local drug stores. A quick call to my doctor solved this right away, he changed my script to just the codeine and purchased the Tylenol and mixed it myself.

I have lost 22 pounds and seem to be going strong. Not much appetite I seem to be getting full rather quickly. My doctor was Dr. Murr at Tampa General Hospital

Nice to meet each of you and I'm looking forward to enjoying your support.

Hi SlimerJim,

Congratulations on the weight loss so far and good to hear your positive experience.

I live in Zephyrhills and have 5 kids also.

Will be getting the band next Friday(26) in Dade City with Dr. DiCicco. I'm supposed to be on a liquid diet but has slipped a couple times but have lost 8 lbs.
