Started my two week liquid diet today. Surgery is November 8th. Anybody else out there with the same surgery date. Would love to have some people to bounce things off of and talk to during this journey.

I’m tomorrow 2 week pre-op was not to bad. I had a few bad days where I was bored of shakes. Cambell’s chicken noodle soup saved me from cheating. The whole experience was great practice in understanding my body and what hunger is and isn’t. I was full most of the time and really only experienced head hunger. It’s such a head game. I hope to continue to master my mind and body. Good luck November sleevers. [emoji1363]

Hi everyone! I start the 2 week liquid preop diet tomorrow. My surgery will be on 11/10. I'm required to do the Optifast 800 diet. 5 shakes, 800 calories a day. [emoji52] lol

I'm officially 30 lbs down since January Celebrating this victory today!

My surgery date is Nov 6th

I start my liquid diet today! Surgery is Nov 20th. I'm super nervous that I won't make it through on just liquids

I am on day 6 of my liquid diet. I don’t have head hunger anymore, but my stomach is definitely crying for food, and the headache won’t go away. I will make it, but man, is it tough.

What helped everyone with their nausea? I feel like every time I sip something I get nauseous. How long will this last? Really struggling post op

I am not post op yet, but my doc gave me three different nausea meds. I hope they work. Good luck with yours.

Still on my pre-op diet as I chose to do it for a full month to help shrink my liver down and I've finally broken the 280s! I weighed in this morning at 278!!!

Did your doc give you any nausea meds and if so, is the issue that they aren't working?
