Hi all,

This is my first post and I started my appts with the surgeon at the end of May, Aug 25th was my 4th visit and he scheduled me for Dec 7th, pending nothing gets in the way. I am super excited and have been reading as much as possible.

I had my last preop appointment today! I preregistered for my surgery and signed all my forms. It’s getting real! 12/6 is right around the corner

My husband had VSG Wednesday. Doing great. Mine is Tuesday, can't wait!

Congratulations! my surgery date is December 5th? like you stated it’s getting real! My stomach constantly in a knot(nerves).

Yes December 18 sleever. I'm happy you got your date. I'm excited and nervous. What protein shake has everyone decided on? Any recommendations?

I have been using the Primer Protein shakes. Getting by with them.

They are premade. I rather have them just because I work so much. I get them from Walmart. I am on day 7 of the liquid diet surgery date is dec 7th.

I’m going to use premier for now but I’m not going to buy a big case because our taste might change after surgery. I also bought Isopure unflavored protein to mix into my puddings, jello and to make smoothies with.

Wow Dec 7 that's coming right up. Good for you! Are you going to use premier after surgery too. What about creamed soups for full liquid stage? Will you use Campbell s

Hey everyone, just got my date! Looks like December 20th...going to be a different Christmas this year. My wife's sleeve went well last week. She had to stay an extra day in the hospital, but she is almost back to normal at 6 days out. This is my first surgery so I'm very nervous...but I think I'll make it.

Congrats !!!! Mine is Dec 19th... starting to get nervous but EXCITED for my new journey . Start my liver shrinking diet Monday per my doctor .
