August 4, 20178 yr I have heard and seen that this is a popular choice. My Costco only has Vanilla, Chocolate, and Bananas and Cream. I've tried Vanilla and Chocolate and loved them! How are Banana and the others? I haven't tried them yet. Thank you!

August 4, 20178 yr Banana and Strawbery are my favorites! I do also like vanilla and hated chocolate pre-op, love it post-op. Still yet to try Caramel but saw Walmart has it available in 5 packs.
August 4, 20178 yr I stick to chocolate, strawberry, and vanilla and put in shots of sugar free syrup or instant coffee powder when I want to change things up. I personally wasn't into the caramel, but it's to be expected considering I'm not a huge fan of caramel drinks in the first place. You can buy bulk packs of the ready to drink stuff on Jet.

August 5, 20178 yr I loved the banana and caramel best before surgery. I could tolerate chocolate and vanilla,and hadn't tried strawberry. After surgery I like chocolate the best, still like banana and caramel (just have gotten a bit sick of them), like strawberry, and will not eat vanilla (except for the few I drank just to finish them up).

August 5, 20178 yr Banana is the best. I sometimes like to give mine a little boost so I'll poor it into a cup and then mix in a scoop of vanilla whey protein. Thickens it up and tastes pretty good. Edited August 5, 20178 yr by sgc

Based off of my dietary guidelines, I'm allowed to have pre-made protein shakes or protein powder during my clear liquid diet, 2 days before surgery. Since you're post-op, that should be okay. Other than the protein shakes, I am unsure. I would ask your surgeon's office just to be sure. I'm prepping for my Liver Shrinking Diet that begins on the 9th (All liquids + 1 light meal of chicken, beef, or fish and veggies).Sent from my LGLS676 using BariatricPal mobile app
