  1. The website still lists Star Medica. https://www.beliteweight.com/facilities-details/?id=18
  2. Nope. I was at Star Medica 6 months ago through BeLiteWeight.
  3. 202.4 - before surgery, a weight loss surgery photo album by MyBariatricLife on BariatricPal. 2 photos in Before and After Gastric Sleeve Photos.
  4. I’m now 6 months out. Lost 45 pounds, maintained through the holidays. Looking forward to getting back on track soon (after my birthday, which is tomorrow). Very happy with BeLiteWeight and the hospital I was at.
  5. BeLiteWeight has two hospitals and two surgeons. Sometimes they use Hospital Angeles. I was at Star Medica, but both are used.
  6. I used to gain on 1500 (with extreme exercise). Lost slowly on 1200. It took forever to find the right combo of thyroid meds. I take 120mg NP Thyroid (similar to Armour) plus 100mcg levothyroxine. Now I can burn 1700 calories a day if I lay around and do nothing.
  7. I never had reflux because of the sleeve.
  8. In lou of kids, I have three cats. They're my kids.
  9. Single, two months out. I'm 46 and never wanted kids or a husband to deal with.
  10. Don't know why it posted 5 times! Eek!
  11. Halfway to goal, and only 10 more pounds until I am in a normal weight range for my height!

  16. Peanut butter should be fine. You can try salad, but it may or may not agree with you. Put some tuna or some other protein on it.
  17. I still have one shake a day and am lucky to meet my minimum 60g per day. And honestly, I'm lucky if I get 32 oz. of liquids every day.
  18. Dr. Rodriguez-Villereal. Star Medica hospital. Juarez.
  19. My doc said they stitched a muscle there. That's why it hurts. It took about two weeks to stop hurting.
  20. Too much exercise and too little food can cause stalls. Are you tracking how many calories you eat per day?
  21. I went to a real hospital and they have a couple YouTube videos showing how they sterilize everything. BeLightWeight is Juarez at Star Medica hospital.
  22. My friend was initially unsupportive and concerned that I chose to go to Mexico. I told him to be supportive or shut up (yes, I was that blunt). After that he was much better, and his support was important for me after surgery when I was in a lot of pain.
  23. Only saw my surgeon while in Mexico. He dropped in on me every day, and before the surgery he explained it and what I could expect after. Haven't seen anyone since coming home, but everything is healing well. Saw a new PCP and told him about the surgery and that everything had gone well.
