Hello!  I am excitedly waiting for my surgery date, which will probably be in August.  Just finished the pre-surgery clearances this morning with my PCP.  Weight / body image has been an issue for me since age 11.  You name it, I have tried it -- not just once but many times.  It used to be the same 30 lbs I would lose and then find again.  But that 30 lbs turned into 80 extra lbs and diabetes/high bp/chol.  Now, at the age of 64, I am ready to change my life!  I am very motivated by reading others' success stories.  In particular, I would love to see someone's journal from day 1.  Looking forward to sharing my journey with you, and providing support to others!
