Val's ricotta fluff

Hi! How many days after my surgery should I be ok to try this? I'm at day 5 and am doing well with jello & Atkins protein shakes.

When you will be okay to try anything new is up to you, as no 2 people are exactly alike. My advice would be not to rush anything. The goal of bariatric surgery is not to see how soon you can start

first stage is clear liquids, next stage is full liquids, 3rd stage is soft foods. I would guess this is more of a soft food, but it would depend on if you were able to liquefy it. I am 8 days out and just started full liquids today

When you will be okay to try anything new is up to you, as no 2 people are exactly alike. My advice would be not to rush anything. The goal of bariatric surgery is not to see how soon you can start eating again. The idea is to completely change your habits. Thinking that there is something that you have to try is an old habit, even if that thing is completely fine for you to eat. You are 5 days out. Relax. Give it time.

Good advice. I'm just not eating enough protein right now because I can't stomach 3 protein shakes a day, so was hoping I'd have more success if I tried to mix it up. Good to wait though.

Maybe you can find/try protein water? Just a thought . . .
