ebroms17 got a reaction from FluffyChix in I can't stop losing weightThanks! I already eat full fat but with the surgery I think I absorb only 20-50% of it. Same with protein. The only thing I absorb at 100% is sugar but that's what gives me the reactive hypoglycemia!

ebroms17 reacted to elcee in I can't stop losing weightThis is something I have wondered about.
Probably the easiest way to add in calories is to swap low fat varieties for full fat. So if you currently eat lf yogurt and milk try the full fat versions. Eat healthy fats like avocados and nuts etc.
I have seen a number of posts on fb lately with photos of people that have got to a BMI of 18 and all the responses have been great, well done etc. What concerns me is that no one seems worried that for an adult a BMI of 18 is very low (even though it is technically in the healthy range). I think it would be very easy to become addicted to the high of losing weight and ignore the signs that a person may be getting too thin. I am glad that you are addressing this.

It's officially been a year since my SIPS (aka Modified DS) with Dr. Roslin at Lenox Hill and I couldn't be happier!
I am down 125 lbs and 25 BMI points. I had my one year check-in and everything looks good, and they told me I don't have to lose any more weight (although I think I'd be comfortable losing 5-10 more and toning.)
Now I'm planning for a tummy tuck and brachioplasty in a few months once my weight is stablized.
This surgery is so worth it; I can't believe the difference, not only physically, but emotionally and mentally as well. To everyone thinking about doing this or who has and may be struggling: keep at it. You won't regret it.

Congrats! Those are some amazing results! And don't forget, you'll be losing upwards 10-20 additional lbs or so with that tuck from the skin removal!

I love how you wore the same necklace and a sleek (yet also black) outfit. Beautifully defined legs and a nice waspy waist. The new slender you looks taller, too. Your face is beautiful, before and after, but in the after photo, it's wonderfully taut. Do I see dimples in the after photo?
I'm only 43 days post-op. One year seems like forever away.

Congrats to you!!
