Just curious Im not on any medication just panadol when I need it! And that's only once a day maybe just in case. When did you start driving after surgery?

My surgery was a same-day procedure 2+ years ago. I drove myself to the hospital in the morning, had the surgery, and drove myself home late that night after discharging from the hospital.

In essence, I was driving within hours after having undergone weight loss surgery.

I could drive as soon as I was off pain meds, but I didn't drive for about ten days because I didn't have anywhere to go [emoji4]

As far as driving a car it was 7 days, but I suspect it could of been sooner. As far as my wife, I was driving her crazy before I even left the hospital.

I drove to my follow up appointment 2 days later but, I had zero pain meds.

I was 67, stayed at the hospital 8 hours for the sleeve, took one pain pill at home, and drove to the store the next day. I drove 20 miles to the mall 3 days later, and walked around the large mall. I have never needed anything for pain since, four years ago now.

Thanks guys on way to mall ATM partners mum is taking us tho hahahaha will get some much needed walking in I feel great beside emotional! No prescribed pain meds or anything

I think 3 or 4 days later... I was not on any pain meds

had surgery on a friday, was driving that monday. just had to wait until nausea subsided.

I waited 3 weeks to drive, but I had my husband to run and get things for me and my mom drove me to my appointment.

I drove a week post op. I made sure to wear comfy pants the first few weeks.
