What all can I count towards liquids

I'm having a hard time getting 64oz per day. Now maybe I have this wrong thinking it has to be 64 oz of water. Could that also include popsycles, jello, soups, tea (hot and cold). So many of you seem to be getting in you liquids plus protein shakes plus food of some kind. Having a hard time with all this drinking stuff. Thanks

when was your surgery?

I am having the exact same issue. I mean, that's A LOT of liquid! I was so dehydrated yesterday, the doc couldn't even hit a vein to give me an IV.

My understanding is that anything liquid counts. That means popsicles, jello, broth, tea (so long as it's decaffeinated and unsweetened) all four toward that 64 oz. Now, I'm a Southern girl, so unsweetened tea is downright wrong; try stevia in cold tea and just a bit of honey in hot tea.

Just keep swimming! I remind myself daily (sometimes hourly) that this is a process that takes time. We will get there!

My nut told me anything liquid the first two weeks counts. You need 64oz of fluids a day, but they don't all have to be from water, even your protein shakes count.
