Flight home

Hi there! I am having surgery in Mexico on July 12th. I am flying home to Seattle from San Diego on July 15th. I know many of you have done this. I'm wondering how the flight went. Any tips or tricks?

Thanks!

I live in Houston and had my surgery in Tijuana. For my return flight I booked my seat in the section with extra room in case I was uncomfortable. I was worried about blood clots so I wore compression socks and moved my legs and feet around often. I also had a plastic bag with me in case I got nauseous and could make it to the restroom. Turns out everything was fine. No trouble at all. Good luck to you!

Anyone else fly 2 days after their surgery?

I had surgery on a Thursday and flew home Saturday... I live in Alaska so it was about 8 hours of flying between two flights. It really wasn't that bad other than just hating flying for more than an hour... the worse part was catching my connecting flight in Washington and not taking a bag that had wheels... otherwise flying itself wasn't bad.
