HI STACEY :clap2::clap2:WELCOME TO THE SITE:whoo:GOOD LUCK WITH YOUR JOURNEY I LOOK FORWARD TO READING ALL ABOUT IT:) TAKE CARE.

:clap2: I just received my surgery date Nov. 9th. I am very anxious and nervous as well. I have battled my weight for over 25 years and am ready to have it behind me. I am looking forward to the journey this new beginning and rebirth will afford me as well. I am being banded 9 days after my birthday.....:D

I joined a healthclub 5 weeks ago and have been walking in the pool 5 2 6 times a week 4 an hour, feeling good about the exercise. I am going in tomorrow for a pulmonary study to see if I might have Asthma and have to have my sleep study this next Saturday to see if I have sleep Apnea.

Pre testing will be done on the 25th. So I have a full plate over the next few weeks. Still am nervous and anxious at the same time. I love reading and hearing from others who are walking this walk with me.

HI TO YOU TOO KRISTIN:clap2: WELCOME AND CONGRATS ON YOUR DECISION TO JOIN THE BAND WAGON IN NOV.:whoo: DON,T WORRY ABOUT A THING YOU WILL BE FINE, YOU SOUND AS IF YOU REALLY HAVE YOUR HEAD IN THE RIGHT PLACE ALREADY DOING ALL THAT EXCERCISE YOU ARE HALF WAY THERE... LOL

GOOD LUCK ON YOUR JOURNEY AND KEEP POSTING,

Hi, I'm on here b/c I'm a college student writing a research paper. And, I don't want to offend any one but I would like to have some information abot the lap-band that is not strickly generated by the medical field. I want to be able to have the whole picture and all the risks & benefits and not just the bias ones proved by the surgery centers & the manufacturers of the bands. If any one doesn't mind helping me please let me know:help:
