I too was all worried and prepared for the pain because of the stories. I actually had a pain pump and kept hitting the button in anticipation of the gas, lol. Pain meds made me nauseous and after they switched me to percocet, no pain, never had gas, great recovery. Remember that everyone is different, pray for a painless, gasless recovery. May 21, 20179 yr Ok! I'm scared of this gas you all speak of so I will. I had minimal gas and never touched the pain meds at all. ( not even tylenol ) everyone is very different. Let us know how it goes..
