5 months post op

My weight loss was doing so good, lost a total of 80 pounds and only 33 away from mine and my surgeons goal. BUT now my weight loss has stalled out/has been teetering back and forth between 197 to 194. Any tips or comfort that I'm not the only one this happens too?!

Same here. I was not eating enough and my dr made me set timers to eat every two hours. I have been slipping and eating more carbs than I should but I snapped out of it and started a clean slate. Making sure I have the right amount of protein daily, eat it first and drink more water. I'm so afraid I'm going to gain the weight back.

Well, obviously, if your eating the very things that made you gain in the first place, then that might be the issue. But, if not, you may not be eating enough too. Sometimes you have to kick your metabolism is gear with a few added calories. Our bodies are not made to sustain a very low caloric diet forever. Please get with your nutritionist on what's good for you. I've read countless posts about people stalling and their nuts telling them to eat more, what do ya know...they start losing again. I hope you find that right balance hon. Blessings to you on your journey!!!

I've actually talked to my nutritionist and she told me to eat more calories, and I've broke my stall this morning!! Hopefully it keeps moving in the right direction. I was just getting upset because I've been following my diet plan to the max. Thank you tho for all the kind words!
