For everyone that is concerned about being a slow loser, don't give up hope! If you have slipped up and are struggling just keep trying to do better. I thought it would take the full 2 years to get 100 pounds off, but I think I might reach my goal by 8-10 months post op.
My weight loss in the beginning was so slow. Like, it took months to lose the first 30 pounds. I stuck through it and have been trying to stay in keto as much as possible. Yes, I'm human, I've made mistakes but I recovered quickly. This last couple of weeks the weight loss has really kicked in! I'm losing so fast, it's like my body finally woke up. I've already lost 19 pounds this month, 19 pounds!! I can't believe this is me now.
Just hang in there! If I can do it with PCOS, Lupus, and hypothyroidism you can do it!! Don't give up no matter how slow it is coming off.
PS. I would post pics but I don't trust people. [emoji13]
