Cream based soups

Are cream based soups treated the same way broth soups are in the sense you can have unlimited amount? Or are they capped out at 2 oz/ serving? My paperwork is silent on the amount for cream based soups. Thanks!

Exactly. Cream soups tend to be considerably higher in calories than broth soups. Pay attention and whatever your serving size, make it fit into your plan. And add protein powder if you can.

I stayed low carb even throughout my post-op food stages, so I had to severely limit the amount of strained cream soup I could eat during that time.

Ok thanks. I had 4 oz with protein powder. I just wanted to make sure it was ok to go over the 2 oz that my Drs office recommends for protein.

Thanks!
