I can't sleep because I'm so excited, and now starting to get a bit nervous. My main fear is the IV since it will be about 12 hours since I was last able to have any fluids. I know it's much easier to get IVs in when you're hydrated. Also nervous about pain and nausea when I wake up. As long as I keep my mind off of these things, I'm so excited about finally getting this done! Does it hurt when you first start walking after surgery? My surgery is today at 12:30pm. Yeah!!!

The hospitals are good about pain management. Mine also gave me meds in my IV for Nausea and sent me home with an Rx for both as well. Good luck!!!
