  1. A few days late but at least I met goal. 239.8!!! Yeah!
  2. I'm posting one day early before I go out of town. Down a slight bit today to 242.3
  3. I'm up this week-- 243.5--- been eating out way too much!!
  4. Thanks for the input everyone. I have found one group that meets 1x a month. I missed it for August, but will check it out next month. I think I will be in the same boat of not necessarily 'needing' it, but enjoying being able to talk to others going through similar challenges. Also hoping I meet some friends to exchange meal/snack ideas with.
  5. Yeah! So excited that you're doing another one!! Thank you so much for helping us all to stay on track. today is 8/24/2017 current weight 251.2 goal weight 240 Thanks!! Sheila
  6. I'm so bummed. I thought for sure I would be down this week and meet my goal, but instead I'm up a teensy bit. Boo! Today's weight is 252.3. I just cannot wait to get under the 250 mark!! Hopefully next week!!
  7. Hey guys- I'm three months out from surgery and things are going well. I've heard people talk about participating in WLS support groups, and I'm wondering if this is something I should look into? I'm not finding many options for local meetings I can attend, but I have seen a few online support meetings. What do you guys think? How important are the actual meetings? Or do you get by with just the info on the forums?
  8. For me, It's Zumba. I have to do a class, so there is an instructor there and I stay for the full time. If i do home videos, walking, or just the machines at a gym, I get bored after about 20 minutes and quit. With Zumba, the time flies by, and before I know it, I've done 50-60 minutes of exercise and burned 600-800 calories. Love it!!
  9. 7/21 --- 256.9 lbs. finally off my stall!! Yeah!
  10. 7/14- current weight is still 259.5 [emoji853]
  11. 7/7---- 259.5 for me. Thanks
  12. Those pics are absolutely breathtaking. Each one looks perfect enough for a post card!
  13. So excited to get this going. Current weight 267.3 Goal weight 249.6
  14. i'm glad you found Zumba and are enjoying it. I've been doing it on & off for the past few years, and it's truly the only form of exercise that i can really say that i enjoy. Like you, I'm often the one going the wrong direction, but it's just so much fun. I will send you a friend request on FitBit. I've been looking for people to connect with on MyFitnessPal that have had surgery and share their food journals. I need ideas for lunches and dinners. Does anyone know of people at our point or further along that shares these? Thank you!
  15. Jen- i'm in a stall too-- will be 2 weeks tomorrow without any movement. I know eventually we'll both keep moving forward, but it's definitely frustrating when the scale isn't moving! Hope you move past your stall soon!
