Hi, I'm new here. So far been to seminar, been to 1st consultation, last week went for psychological eval and dietician consultation and am now waiting for someone to call and schedule my next appointment and surgery date. I am hoping for Oct 17. That would really work well with my husbands schedule to take care of kids etc...I'm curious how long after the psyc eval does it take to get an answer if you're approved?

I'm cash pay so no need for insurance approval. I'm really anxious to get going here now that I've made the decision to do it. I'm starting the 2 week pre-op diet tomorrow as if I already have the surgery scheduled.Or should I wait? Anyway I found this site and thought WOW it would be great to have some support. Hi, Im still in the beginning stages, but from what my doctor has told me, it's pretty quick. I guess it depends on how long your psych will take to send a report. I would call him and ask. All the best to you.

Well after I posted this morning I spoke with Dr's office and I"M SCHEDULED!!! 10-25-07 is surgery day. Yippee! I am sooo excited.:whoo:
