It's so OK to be nervous, this is life changing. My 2nd journey started 4/3 with my pre-op visit - surgery was 5/1. Down 24 lbs since 4/3. Remember to stay positive, be prepared, and know that

Sounds like you are doing well!

How's it going Jen! I'm feeling better each day. Not really even struggling to get my liquids or shakes in. Tomorrow moving on from all liquid to adding some yogurt.

I'm scheduled for May 30th

Surgery scheduled for 5/23. Pre-op diet officially starts tomorrow, but I started it last week. I had a few off-plan meals over this past weekend, plus some wine, but I'm back on track today. It just stinks to have to go through the rough first few days again.

I had mine on the 5th. Thank goodness i found this forum, it has answered so many questions about what my body is going through. I am learning that everyones body has a different reaction to vsg.

I started it today. So far it's ok. I have issues at night though. Started practicing chewing my food thoroughly. Weaning off caffeine too. It'll all be worth it in the end!

Good Luck to everyone

I had mine May 1st! I also had a Hiatal hernia repaired while the surgeon was in there. It's been tough. I'm a business owner and have really never felt the level of dibilitation as I do now. Each day gets better, but mentally has broken me down. I've still been trying to walk about two miles a day and get my water and protein intake. Yesterday was not a good day. I have just heard the first 2 months are hard, then it's smooth sailing!!! How are you doing??

You had surgery one week ago and are walking 2 miles a day! That is awesome!

My first night (last night) was very rough. Have gas surrounding my ribs and clavicle and my esophagus was swollen. I woke up okay but the nausea kicked in and I struggled most of the night. Then on top of it I take 6 pills in the am and 8 in the pm and they taste horrible crushed!! ??. I know this is so worth it...just rough right now.
