May Sleevers?

  • Popular Post

So finally got my date and it is May 11th. Are there any other May sleevers out there who want to join me in this journey?

I also invite the veterans to join and guide us May sleevers through the process.

Well, I'm having the sleeve done on May 1! I was originally scheduled in November 2016 but had to cancel last minute due to complications from diabetes. Hey, so I'm in a Facebook group for November 20

I have a pre op diet for a week but it's just protein shakes and low carb dinner. My liquid diet is only for a day before surgery.

I'm also May 11th!

How long is your pre op diet? Mine is only a week and that too high protein and low carbs.

It's odd the only pre op diet I have is for the one day prior to surgery. Does anyone else have this?

I also was only advised to do a liquid diet the day before, but i decided to do it for 3 days instead. My surgery is tomorrow!!

Mine is just the liquid diet the day before surgery.. clear liquids only

May 23rd is my date.

We all have that. But about the 2 week pre-op liquid diet, my surgeon said it's optional and just to be ready psychologically. I don't have to do that, but have plan to start with stay on protein shake half day long for first week and all day long for second week.

Hi my op is booked for may 8th. Feeling very lonely as I have just moved to my husbands town and don't really know anyone. This journey is very scary when you can't sit down with a girlfriend and talk about it as much as I love my husband he is a great support but sometimes you just need another girl. Anyway wishing everyone luck I really can't wait to start living my life again. X

My first day of the 2 week pre op diet started yesterday. It was fine until the evening time. My stomach was growling. Chugged some water after having broth to try to fill it up. I sure hope this gets better.
