  1. That one sounds amazing! Def adding that to my list of things to try
  2. I see a lot of peeps using the sugar free syrups to flavor things.. there's Torani and Davinci is another brand. I haven't tried them yet myself but plan to after surgery when I get bored with the shakes. There's lots of recipes online using the syrups
  3. Yes and yes! LOL.. the wait is torture!
  4. You are 2 days before me, good luck! FYI my 2 boys are 24 and 16 and they're still my big babies lol
  5. I don't have one either. I just have to do a light breakfast then liquids for the day before surgery
  6. Hey Lindz I also can't find the group, I sent you a msg thru here not sure if you get notified of it but.. let me know how to request you
  7. I'd love to join the May fb group!
  8. Thank you for this, I emailed them and they responded right away and are mailing some samples
  9. I only have a one day liquid diet as well. The day before my surgery. It isn't crazy, different surgeons have different requirements.
  10. Mine is just the liquid diet the day before surgery.. clear liquids only
  11. I'm also May 11th!
  12. I'm looking at a May surgery date as well, hope all goes smoothly for you! Oh and queendeborahbee, my son is also 6'4 and still growing at 16 so I know how you feel! Definitely see the similarities between feeding him and an entire team lol
  13. You're so welcome.. yes ask if they have a list they can put you on so that if anyone cancels they will call you.. I used to work for a lot of doctors so I know that most places will keep a list like this. [emoji4] good luck
  14. Sounds like you're doing everything in your power to make this run smoothly.. sometimes things happen that are out of our control and trip us up, try and stay positive! I know setbacks can be discouraging, sometimes what helps me is I convince myself that there must be a good reason why the setback had to happen..i like to think everything happens for a reason! Does your bariatric office have a cancellation list? Couldn't hurt to ask, mine does and I was able to get one of my appts bumped up a bit earlier. Good luck to you on your journey!
  15. I make my own black bean burgers and I'll have one of those no bun of course, with a cheese stick or veggies or small salad. There are lots of recipes online and fun to experiment w diff spices and vegetables. So easy to make and pop a batch in freezer to grill up whenever.
  16. I ended up going with the Upcal dissolving calcium powder, I was a little hesitant at first but glad I did because you really do not notice it at all! It's a very fine tasteless powder and I put a scoop in my protein shake, mix into yogurt and even in water and you cannot tell it's there. I don't like the chewy stuff that gets stuck in your teeth so this works for me Sent from my SM-G900T using the BariatricPal App
  17. Hi, I don't have CFS but I do have Fibromyalgia with similar symptoms. I'm looking at April for my surgery date, and hoping getting some weight off will help my joints feel better and also my energy level Sent from my SM-G900T using the BariatricPal App
