So my surgery is set for April 19th. I can't believe how fast my 6 mo. requirements went by! [emoji3] I start my 2 week diet on April 5th and pre op meeting on 4/10. Any other April sleevers in the house?[emoji2]

Good morning everyone!!!! I have finally arrived at my surgery day!! I'm feeling all type of emotions right now but I know this is the best decision for me at this time! I'm excited to start my new life soon!! I live in NY and have to be at the hospital at 6:30am and my surgery is at 7:30am!!! Ahhhh pray for me y'all!!! I'm sending out lots of love and positive vibes to my other sleeve sisters/brothers getting sleeved today also!! Best of luck and I'll see y'all on the LOSER'S BENCH!!!

I'm also having surgery on the 19th! Must be a lucky day!

I had mine April 11th. Surgery day was rough but look at the positives of this huge life changing event and you will rock it!

Just got home from surgery April 12, tired cause couldn't rest in a room with 3 patients..... Now home relaxing time today and creating my new born life tomorrow

I was sleeved on the 12th. First night was a little rough. I kept thinking I was going to throw up but it was all burps. Let me just say that it hurt! Right now I am working on a sugar free popsicle, I got it off the stick so it's in chunks. I excited for this journey.

The more walking you do the better you feel. I had a bad rash reaction to gas x. I am almost off pain meds. I over did it yesterday so i was a touch sore.

I had mine done on the 3rd! You're absolutely right about how fast the time flies by.

My stomach is still sore a little bit. I'm trying to get my fluids down. Everyday is a little bit better. I had my gall bladder out in 2006, so this is familiar with my stomach. That took me about 7 days to feel normal again.

I was sleeved 4/11! First two days were really bad with nausea but by day three I was able to get some fluids down. Just remember the trick to getting fluids to stay down is sip wait 30 s to 1 min and sip again. Trust me if you sip too fast or too much it will either hurt your pouch or come back up and you don't want that pain [emoji13][emoji15][emoji43]

I'm having my surgery 4/18/2017.. i'm excited but nervous. i still haven't told my husband. i think i will tell him tomorrow night after we get home from the Easter celebration.. he cant hold water and i don't want him telling anyone. i don't think he'll be that supportive either. But, I'm not doing it for anyone other then myself.
