I definitely miss that too!!!!! Sipping water isn't the same as taking a nice big gulp :-/

I love GenePro unflavored protein powder!! It has 30g of protein in one tablespoon!! I add it to my foods and even my cup of tea in the mornings!! Amazing and doesn't change the taste of anything! Also mixes very well!

Thank you for replying! Yeah I might make a dermatologist appointment because I'm getting frustrated. It could also be my water intake because before surgery I could drink a gallon and a half and now I could barely get 3 water bottles down :-/

Thanks for your reply!! I'm definitely thinking it's my hormones! A friend who did her sleeve surgery as well said that the body is confused and is trying to get back to normal and that is what caused the breakout! Did u do anything to help your skin during that time? And it's interesting to think that maybe it could be the metals in the vitamins. I've never heard of that before.... But wth my case, I don't think it's that because I've been taking the same multivitamin since before surgery :-/

Hey fellow VSGers!!! I got sleeved on April 12, 2017 and before surgery I had very good skin. I Didn't have to wear makeup or anything. Now, I am experiencing small bumps all over my face and everyday I wake up with more. It looks like a rash and I tried doing face washes and face masks but nothing works! I don't think it's anything I'm eating because I'm still on soft foods and have been for the past few weeks. I'm feeling very frustrated and upset at this point because I have never experienced this. Have any of you experienced this? What should I do? HELP ME PLEASE!!!! I'm desperate over here :-(

I love that show!! It keeps me motivated and on track!! Also, I love Dr. Now because he always keeps it real with his patients!!

Oh so the day before me how awesome!!! Yeah I was a bit nauseous too while at the hospital but I used alcohol pads to sniff on when that would happen and they helped me tremendously!! Hope your recovery is going well too!!

Only thing is that the gas pains still are bothering me at times and I'm tired but that's part of the process!! I'm so excited to start this wonderful journey with you all by my side!!! I'm excited to start my new life soon!! I live in NY and have to be at the hospital at 6:30am and my surgery is at 7:30am!!! Ahhhh pray for me y'all!!! Yeah day 3 and 4 are tough but after that it gets much better!! You will feel better and have tons of energy!!! Keep going!!! We are almost there!!!

I am on day 11 of my Pre op diet and too feel great!! In the beginning it was a struggle especially on the 3rd and 4th day but ever since it's been smooth sailing!! It does get better for all of you that are having a hard time on the liquid diet!!! Good luck to us all!!!

My name is Carrie! Oh no I'm sorry to hear about your body pains. I as well have pain in both knees and lower back but it's due to my weight so I pray after surgery all this goes away! I think once you start losing, you too will be feeling much better! I live in NY and Connecticut isn't that far from me!! Where are you doing your surgery? Who is your doctor?
