      So, I just got the call!!! My surgery for May 1 has been approved!!!!! 17 days to go!!! My doctor has us do a liquid diet for the 3 days before the surgery. I am now very excited!

      I am way up by the Canadian border, having surgery in Syracuse. May 1 still...One more appointment to fulfill, then paperwork over to the insurance company for approval...Fingers crossed! ?

    I'll have to try that. Now I'm looking for unflavored protein and also a powder since they say that the premier's can be really sweet to us after surgery.

    Unjury makes that too. Also a chicken broth flavor (not made with chicken). I haven't tried the unflavored yet, though.

    My surgery is May 1st. On day 7 of the pre op liquid diet. I am excited and terrified all at once! Ive never had surgery of any kind before so pretty freaked out.

    My bypass surgery is scheduled for May 11th. I have my preop appointment this Tuesday. So excited, but now it is real and just a little nervous. I've been working towards this for a year now. I'm in Illinois and having the surgery in Peoria
