I'm 4 days post op and in the same boat.

No, don't worry yet.. I was 9 days out.. you are not eating much of anything so there's nothing in there to move.. after I drank the protein shakes I went. Good luck


Maybe Guys are different or maybe it's just me and this is definitely TMI but I wish I would have taken Miralax or something. Two days or so after Surgery I discovered what Natural Childbirth must feel like and the Bad thing is no Epidural lol. Right after I got home I would take a stool softener and repeat every other day unless your body decides to be nice and become regular. Once again it doesn't effect everyone like this but it's good to keep some softeners around.

After 3 days and no movement, I started on the Miralax. There was no real reason to be concerned for me, but when nature was ready to call, I didn't want it to be a struggle.

Don't worry yet. You may want to add some fiber. Get the kind that dissolves in liquid. Works great! And always check with your doctor to make sure it's right for you.
