Hey guys I just had my surgery 3/1. Everything has been going okay except I started bleeding today, almost like a period but it only happens when I'm up walking around and doing things.

Is this normal, am I just possibly over doing it? I have the mirena birth control and I haven't had a period in almost 2 years.

Happened to me too. It'll stop.

It's probably normal spotting but still something you should mention to your doctor since (I'm assuming) they have you on a blood thinner post-op. Congratulations on your surgery though!

My doctor said it is normal to have menstral like bleeding afterwards.
But when I had the mirena my body couldn't except and I bleed the whole Time I had it.

I too had some spotting when period was not due. Nurse said probably from blood thinners given to prevent clotting. Mine stopped before I left hospital when they stopped the blood thinner.

I spotted the night before surgery ( 3/1) then on 3/4 I have had a full blown menstruating

Mine came with vengeance 3 days after, it's normal

Same here! Got my worst period in a long time a few days postop. I think it's your body's way of saying it can't have a baby right now.

I got mine during my 10 day liquid diet post-op. I still have it! [emoji24]Sleeved 2/21
