Anybody else getting sleeved on Monday? If so how are you feeling.

I'm excited yet very petrified. Ughhhhh anxiety on high.

Can't believe I'm days away from the big day.

I did not have that last meal like I've read some people have I'm wondering should I lol. I know I'm not going to I'm super committed to this. But sometimes I wonder.....

What did you guys do?

I'll be 3 days behind you Thursday march 9th. I'm very excited as well just want the days to fly by. I'm so ready. I haven't had any anxiety or fear just excitement and being so ready but who knows what the days to come will bring

I'm on the 6th too. Revising from the band. I had multiple last meals . I sadly gained weight from my last visit. But I'm on day 4 of my 7 day liquid diet. I've been wanting to revise for two years. I've unfortunately gained back all my weight plus a little due to band failure. I hope things go very well for all.
Now that it's 4 days away I'm starting to get a little nervous. I'm hoping I have an easy recovery. Honestly I'm not worried to much about the pain, although last time day 1 sucked, but I was off pain meds by day 3. I'm worried about having trouble getting all me fluids in. I currently drink a lot of wyler's light (similar to crystal light).

Congratulations and good luck to you! I will be sleeved on Wednesday 3/8! I definitely had a few "last meals" before my 2 week pre-op diet began. Mentally I think it was good in the way that I don't feel like I'm craving certain foods like I expected to.

I'm not craving as much as I thought I would. However everywhere I look there is food advertising and it looks so good lol. I call it food porn. Lol But the devil is a liar I'm not gonna budge. Good luck to you

I'll be sleeved on Monday as well. I've grown adjusted to this liquid diet but a part of me still feels like I should've had a last meal. I had a 2 week all liquid diet so I haven't had a real meal in almost 2 weeks not to mention I won't be eating solids after the surgery for 3-4 weeks too. But I made a decision and I'm happy about it. I'll gladly say goodbye to food to live a happier healthier life. We can do it!

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

So proud of you Cat. Getting into those smaller size clothes is half the fun isn't it?. Keep up the good work!!!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞

I may have to have gall bladder surgery during my weight loss surgery. Not thrilled about it either but do not want 2 recovery times. Just want it over with.

Thanks for your post. I may need to rethink my decision... :(
