4 Days Post Op Feeling ???

I keep going back and forth between feeling 9 months pregnant with a big swollen belly, and just having a baby feeling the same.

Am I the only one who feels like this?

  • I've never had a baby, but I'm used to having a big belly, lol. I was feeling super full earlier bc I had drank a lot of liquids, but I peed it out and felt relieved as well. I still carry my big bell

  • After about a week my swelling went down

I had surgery 2/17 also and yes my stomach feels pregnant I think it's from the gas they blow you up with for surgery and all the IV fluids I read it can take up to two weeks

Me too. How much pain are you in?

My pain the first two days was about a 10. Now I'm about a 4... What about you?

My side pain is like a stab, it's not constant but it is worse now than when I was in hospital (I guess I was in bed much more in hospital) dr said it was the large incision sight and that there is an internal stitch that can pull, it's about a 7. At hospital I was saying 5

I had less pain than this with my c section

I definitely felt like I was hauling around a baby belly for the first few days. That still happens sometimes if my day is busy. I think it's normal, but definitely annoying!

I had surgery the 10th of February, I had mild pain specially when I drink something . I am having trouble getting hidrated but I am walking and hopeful . My incisions look like healing . I do still have some air .
