Eating out

We are going out for Mums birthday on Sunday & im in a panic [emoji31][emoji37] What on earth can I eat?!?! I will be day 10 post op, so still fluids really. All I can think is mashed potato mixed with a lot of gravy or something to make it really runny. Help!!!!!!

Can you check beforehand as to what's on offer. Potatoes and gravy aren't the best choice right now. Soup could be a good choice but see what it is first. Some Soups can be laiden with cream. If your family know then why don't you have a Protein drink before you go and just have a drink during the meal.

I know it's difficult but you really need to stick to the plan.

My family don't know, they'd be very negative about it, ask if I really needed to do it, how it's the easy way out etc.

I checked the menu but there are no soups, & all other dishes apart from chips are meat so automatically rules them out.

Wow.... that's a situation. You are going to have to face the negative and take your own food or opt not to go. Not staying on your plan is risking and could hurt you. No one is worth that.
